winter project...

Here is what I been working on home. It is a 67 Dart Racecar.I own it for a flew years now...I show some pics.of what I have done so far. here is a flew overview pics to start with.

this pics was taken after I got the roll cage and frame ties-suports in.



And you can see where I try to make a panel to cover the fire wall up..Not a good idea..



here is where I got all the front suspension out of it.



here is where I made some protectors for the roll bars so they did not get chip up.



this is what the firewall looks like..to many holes to fix!



So I cut it out !

Next 3-4 pics are of rebuilding it..








Almost done..



Now on to the trans tunnel



and here is the front K-member..I got 4-5 hours in it !



So I got flew more months of winter yet..still working ! LOL

how many are in a flew?

I would say I got 3 more months.....It would not take so long if I had all my own tools.. Got a friend who let me use his bead roller and stretcher-shinker and I go over to other guy shop and use his Brake to bend !

Well I am working on it this weekend..welding in all the parts for the fire wall.. should have it done today..But here is a little insite about this car..My daugther Jenni..Drives the race car.Here is a pic of mine other car..She has won two track championships in it and she won two in the jr dragster class also.
