Some thin drawers are nice, of course, but how many wrenches, screw drivers and other small items do you need, especially working on a tractor??
Some like bad paint and rust, i suppose, but at least wash it up and give it another coat of paint, even if it's only a rattle can job, you'll be better off. Only my opinion.
It's a tool box, not a Rembrandt. I would wash it up, give it a coat of wax and use it. I'm a tool user, not a tool polisher.
Why do I need so many thin drawers? I'm a machinist by trade. I really don't want to stack expensive, calibrated tools, they cannot bang into each other as the slightest defect in the surface will ruin the whole set up.
That would NOT be used to store my tractor fixing tools. BTW the tractor with a front loader is needed as we own a farm, and my 20HP tractor with out a loader, just isn't cutting it anymore so I'm looking for a 35HP 4x4 tractor.
I was an "A" tech for just shy of 15 years, I've got PLENTY of other chests of tools. I really only want the top and bottom boxes, the sides would get sold off, or bolted to a wall. I would empty my 2 Kennedy boxes, I'm not super impressed with them. Keith
BTW I did list a set of spare Dana 60's I have, if they sell before the box, I'll be bringing it home. Keith
