Sears SYWR New Brands Promotion-$100 in Points Possible

I haven't seen a thread dedicated to this, so here it goes.

This month, shopyourway.com is running a promotion wherein you can earn $100 in points over the course of the month. Go to:

www.shopyourway.com/newbrands

Each week, there are going to be several stores that you will receive $25 in SYWR points if you spend $25 of your money there. This week, the deal is for: APPLE, OFFICE MAX/DEPOT, ADORAMA, and LENOVO.

I find it best to go directly to these stores, do your shopping and fill up your cart. Then close the window, go back to shopyourway.com/newbrands and link back to the store. Finish your purchase and checkout at the other store. You must link through the shopyourway site in order to get the points. You must pay for it through a SYWR-Linked card (Visa or Mastercard only, I think).

It sounds like each week there is going to be a new list of preferred stores. I figured that we could post on this thread any great deals that we see to get to the $25 mark.

My wife bought me a pair of Ugg slip on shoes for around the house.... I thought "WTF", but they are actually pretty comfortable. Probably the first pair of house shoes I've had that didn't make my feet sweat and still kept them warm.

I am not entirely sure what this line of text is about. I think that it may refer to the points being only available to the original recipient. As in, you can't give the points to someone else or pool them somehow.

One thing to note about this promotion is that sometimes SYWR Partners purchases don't show up instantly. So if you make your purchase on the last day of the week, it may not hit Sears until it is too late.

Indeed, it would have been. But I didn't because I figured that someone else already had. I was going to make a smart-a** reply, but I have received so many good deals because of Doohickey that I am going to let it slide this time!

I was able to get free delivery, but had to pay tax. About $28 all total and Sears should be giving me $25 back in points. This is an easy purchase to meet the requirement this week.

Okay, it looks like the deal has been updated for this week. This week's lucky stores are:

I haven't even heard of two of these stores. But the deal is the same, spend $25 at one of these four stores and get $25 back in SYWR points about 45 days later. Please note that you need to log into Shopyourway.com/newbrands and click through the links to get to the other stores.

Didn't mean anything personal. I just read the comments above, and thought interest from the GJ crowd would have been higher when a store like HD was available.

Again, you need to go to shopyourway.com/new brands and log in. Then click through to the store you want and make a $25 purchase from one of these stores using a linked credit card. You should get $25 in SYWR points about 45 days later.

The deal is back on and this week's featured brands includes Home Depot. Buy $25 worth of stuff at the following stores, get $25 back in points 45 days later:

Under Armour
Chicco (strollers and carseats)
Office Depot/Office Max

Remember, you need to go to shopyourway.com/newbrands, login and click through to the store. You must also pay with a SYWR linked card. Don't make the mistake that I did and buy with your American Express card. That isn't eligible for the promotion.

With Home Depot being on the list, I am sure that we all can find something to buy this week.

My understanding of this promotion is that you must make the purchase online. You can do in store pickup though. Your best bet may to look at slickdeals.net to find a deal. It would be great if furnace filters came on sale this week.

Did anyone get points from the last time? Should be getting close to 45 days for most people over the next two weeks.

No points awarded to me yet. I think that Friday will be the cutoff for me. If this is anything like any other transaction I have ever had with Sears, I will need to email to get them to apply the points.

I emailed SYWR about this and they denied it. They said that any purchase from the correct store qualifies. Typical Sears.

Received my first $25 in points today from Sears, based on my Home Depot purchase in the first week of September. Didn't even have to call to get them applied!

The promotion is back with a relevant business this week! You need to spend $25 at one of these reward partners:

Under Armour
Nine West
Advance Auto Parts

As usual, you need to go to shopyourway.com, go to the partners section, then click on the store and make your purchase using your SYWR-linked credit card.

Advance Auto Parts is giving 10% back in points probably within a few days, and then $25 back in points if your purchase is over $25.
