So I asked my wife to bring me a small flat-head screwdriver from my toolbox, and first she brought me a pretty bent up plastic one which was too big for my sunglasses which needed re-tightening. Then she came back with this sweet looking wooden-handled masterpiece, which I had never heard of, and probably picked it up within a bunch of tools I must have bought at a flea market or at a yard-sale at some point, but I felt the need to share with you all because I tried searching for a thread specifically on this manufacturer, and there was none. I also tried searching online for other sites which might have similar screwdrivers, and only found this other site which looks like auctions off old tools. Pretty cool if you have a few minutes to spare......

The little bit of research leads me to believe that this tool was made sometime before the late 1890s (Thank you google digitized books: https://books.google.com/books?id=O...if0eCh024wah#v=onepage&q=Tuck Mfg. Co&f=false ) (and thank you old woodworking tools dot com: http://www.old-woodworking-tools.com/index/pages/058.htm ).

If anyone else has others, please feel free to add to this thread to share with all.

I apologize for the lengthy intro, but here it is. My Tiny TUCK screwdriver. I will clean it up and post pictures once freshly cleaned....

Thanks woody. Looks like rosewood, eh? I'll have to look into a best practice for preserving that age rosewood when cleaning up.

Thanks lugnutz. That looks like a useful stubby, and wouldn't be surprised that yours is probably over a hundred years old too

I received a Tuck driver freebie with a Plomb I ordered off Ebay. 3bay directed me here and I find that your driver looks very much like a tiny mystery driver I found a while back.

I suppose I'm due for an update here since it's been nearly a few years. This was before...

This is today after a super fine brillo pad on a frill press followed by paste wax application...
