Thought I would share my shop/pool house build with everyone. Started back in April 2015 and still working on it today but getting closer. Plan is a 40'w x 50'l x 14'h - Two 13 ft garage doors on each end of each other. Half of the building will be for storage/workshop area for lawn equipment, golf cart, trailer ect... The other half will be framed out and serve as a pool house/game room which will have a bathroom, kitchen, games and TV areas.

Will have a gabled porch 20x25 facing the pool. Chose to go with 1" Closed Cell spray foam the entire inside, after which they spray painted in white. I had to brick 80% of the structure to match my house and meet HOA requirements. Saved a little on brick and did three sides and a wainscot/exposed metal on the pool side. I think it came out great but now getting a few rumblings from the HOA.

Anyway here are some pics

Thanks Morio! Few more pictures of the progress

Had to reroute a gas line from under the slab. I under up running water, gas and cable service in the same trench along side the building. Current Septic system was on the other side of the yard so we installed a new one just for the shop.

I had a 10ft double gate which we took down and had my friends in the fence business build a new sliding gate. It now sits just behind the brink columns and has a gate operator, keypad and remote installed.

Spray foam guys are here today, spraying the pool house side, it should be sealed up like a yeti cooler.

The track is mounted on top of the cement - basically its a flat piece of steel with a piece of angle iron welded on top - the wheels on the gate have a v-groove that matches up great

Few more pics - The gate being built. New gate needed to be stained so I ended up just doing the entire fence. Had all the lumber an sheetrock delivered and the framers started building out the pool house side

Ahh, okay. That makes much more sense than the track I had envisioned in my head.:headscrat :D

Looks real nice, I am surprised that they didn't make you shingle the roof. I wish I lived in an HOA. Around here we have lots of junk cars unlicensed, heck people just leave their trash bins on sidewalk the whole week instead of the trash day.
