Dremel 1672 Scroll Saw...

I have a Dremel 1672 16" Scroll Saw and am curious what is the general opinion on these saws? It was built in Taiwan but is no longer in production, so its obviously not a quality USA made product, but it does seem to be robust. I have had mine for multiple decades and I am not the first owner and it still cuts whatever I put through it...

Its two speed and has a hefty cast iron base. I understand it came with a stand and a lamp but I never saw those.

Is this saw worth maintaining? Worth hunting down the 4 leg base and lamp?

MP: it looks like not too many guys have much to say about your scroll saw. i've always like the Dremel quality so wherever it was made shouldn't matter as much. as far as a collector item maybe some day Taiwan tools will and i'm sure some are, but i've never had much of a need for a scroll saw.

if you use it and it works for the jobs you need it for then keep it and clean it and if you happen to find those missing parts on another one that you don't know it's history then add on to yours as you can.
