The price is roughly the same as if you bought 2 of the 5-piece packs on sale at GW's website right now, except you get 6 more wrenches. With that in mind, I think the selection is great given the price. I ended up paying around 26 bucks after SYW points. That's like $1.50 per wrench.

Reversible vs non reversible is up to personal preference. Some posters here on GJ actually prefer the non reversible as they're stronger and have no switch to be accidentally bumped.

Would the 16 piece Gearwrench master ratcheting set in either metric or SAE be a better kit? Of course, but it should be for 4x the price.

The metric sizes are kinda a **** selection, but the standard ones are good. I even use the 11/32'' fairly often.
