Thanks OP! What I don't get is that I signed up for an account and also signed up for their newsletters and specials; I never get these in my e-mail like I do from other places.

I feel like there are tons of things I could get from here... but everytime these sales come up, my mind goes blank. Any ideas?

What'd you get? You had some good suggestions the last two Enco sales for stuff to grab.

What'd you get? You had some good suggestions the last two Enco sales for stuff to grab.

A couple of examples. The free ship can be really beneficial for cheaper but heavy items.

Consumables (taps, drill bits, soft hammer tips, brushes, sand paper belts, oil...etc)

Suggestions: They have Palmgren arbor 1 ton press's already on sale ($57). 24" x 18" granite surface plates on sale with free shipping ($58).

Carbide deburring 1/4" bits, Young Bros letter stamp set, Premium Denim apron ($4.45), metal stock & drill rods, Durham blue Steel small parts storage cases ($15), Bonhus Ball hex set ($10)

Would it be possible to press out small car bearings with that press? I'm sure the steering knuckle off a Taurus would fit under there. It might be abusing the tool but 42$ to never have to hammer out a bearing would be worth it!

I was looking at the arbor press also, just wondering if the 1 ton is too small? It says it has a 5 1/2 opening, not bad and the price is reall good....btw, it is listed as $77 on sale on Hot Deals, I think it would be about $57 with the 25% discount.

They also have the "ENCO" 3 ton arbor press, opens to 12 1/2", weighs 160 lbs on sale for $155, would be about $116 with the discount. Anyone know who makes the ENCO press and if they will hold up?

Just noticed the 3 ton ENCO and the 4 ton Palmgren have an asterisk for truck shipping, I am guessing they would not be eligible for free shipping?

^^correct, truck ship = no free ship. Right now their Kurt vises have free shipping "built in," however - it's just a promo IOW

Nice sale! Was all set to buy a Drill Doctor, but then found it $5 cheaper on Amazon Prime. I'll find some other stuff to use the deal on....

Anyone wanting a USA made Wilton vise, they have the Tradesman line on special, then an extra 25% off with free shipping. (not their best but still a great vise)

With discount and free shipping...

4 1/2" $276.75
5 1/2" $336.75
6 1/2" $396.75
8" $599.25

For brand new out of the box made in the USA vises, you won't find better for new.

$600 for a vise is not chump change but if you look around for used & in good condition 8", this Wilton is a pretty good deal for anyone who ever wanted to get their hands on a vise this big.

I'm in for some storage bins, depth gauge, and some small misc stuff.

Is it time for me to splurge on a Kalamazoo belt sander? Since it's a Cyber Monday sneak peek, maybe I'll have 3 more weeks to think this over.

They got me again.... 8" Phase II Rotary Table Model #200-1143

Normally $462.44 ea
Web Special $349.00 ea
With 25% Discount = 261.75

It has pretty decent reviews and for the work I will use it for it will be fine.

Doesn't qualify for the free shipping due to weight but I needed one and well.... Merry Christmas to me...

Also got the 6" three jaw chuck and backing plate and some counter bores. My wallet couldn't tolerate anymore.

I have lost all willpower....:eyecrazy:

Hot diggity, just ordered a mill and need to get some accessories.

Wish I had that kind of money sitting around....

I got that Palmgren 1 ton press, been eyeing an Arbor press for a while, this was a good deal. I also grabbed a few can of Tap Magic (Enco ALWAYS has them for super cheap ($2/can vs $10/can on Amazon), so I grab some everytime there is a free shipping sale), and I grabbed an SAE set of the Bondhus ball hex keys.

$76 seems like a good deal.

BTW, the sale ends in 15 minutes, at 11pm EST.

Press **** with it, duh:lol_hitti

Honestly, I use them more than you would imagine at work, I have even had to take projects from home to work, just to press stuff in.

Small bearings or bushings mostly, honestly this press is rather small, but should be good enough for now.

With automotive use in mind, you can use them for u-joints, wheel bearings.

The press is also very useful for making steel stamped plates (using number or letter punches), it can enable you to make much more accurate impressions than using a hammer.

Well, I got the 1 ton arbor press and a deburring tool. I didn't realize the promo ended at 11PM EST. Finding anything on their site normally is difficult, finding things under the gun is STRESSFUL! Thanks for the warning Kunkerator.

I clicked "Submit" at 9:55 Central Time. Both codes worked!

From the bottom of my cart:

Merchandise Total: $435.76
You Save: $108.92
New Total: $326.84

Thanks to the OP, I saved $109.

Seen another way, BECAUSE of the OP, I spent $327 :eyecrazy: that I had no intention of spending today.

But... I would have spent $436 (plus shipping), sooner or later, so thanks for the tip. If I had seen it earlier, I would have saved even more. And, if Enco had a better web site, I would have saved/spent more.

Codes are still valid by the way. Enco's really bad about cancelling them when they say they will, usually takes them at least until the next day.

These codes often work hours beyond the time they're supposed to. And often if you call the day after and say you had trouble getting through (or whatever) they continue to honor it the whole next day. During sales like this they get swamped and the phone lines clog up, so they strive to make everyone happy and honor the sales later. No guarantees of course, and I'm not advocating abusing the system (I honestly haven't called Enco in years, no reason to)

edit: doh, Stealth103 typing as I was!

No problem! :) Although it sounds like it may still work after the cutoff.

Tip for future sales is to go thru the process of creating an account. That way when you go thru the site before a sale your items will be alway be saved in your cart.

When you hear of a sale taking place, all you have to do is go to your cart and pay.

This worked out great for me as I was all ready eyeing the sae and metric set of bondhus ball allen wrenches for work.

You can never have to many allen sets and it was such a super deal it only came out to like $17 shipped! Thats half of what it costs on Amazon!

Thanks!!!
