Stopped at Sears tonight on the way home from dinner and the Craftsman Pro (USA) screwdrivers were all on sale for $2.49 each. Stocked up with a nice blend of styles and sizes. Gobble Gobble!

if you haven't seen yet, they are total rebrands of Armstrong screwdrivers. Only difference is the printed text and that the red is blue.

You scored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lifetime warranty doesn't mean a damned thing when the USA made product stopped being made here a year ago. You'll get remnant USA stock, then China/Taiwan stock when that runs out.

You probably got that last of your store's stock. I believe Craftsman has phased the pro screwdrivers out. :dunno:

Still a decent deal at $2.49 each.

I saw them in a plain white box at my Sears a few days ago. I wanted to like them, but I wasn't a fan of the handles, so I passed.

I bought about 20 of them tonight too.

Not sure if it matters, but many of the ones I saw did not have vapor blasted tips and the chrome finish was not that great. The 20 I purchased were all vapor blasted.

$2.49 for a 24 inch Phillips 2 was just too good a deal to pass up.

Can you guys tell me if this is official sale or something you found at your local sears?
I thought they stopped making these long time ago.

I wish my Sears had these I haven't seen them around in a long time

Haven't seen them in any but one local store in years and they only had one flat head.

Btw if anyone is a shop your way member check your accounts, They gave us 15 bucks free until 28th to spend with no limits, just regular points that expire in 2 days. Both our accounts had them.

As far as I can tell these are at SEARS OUTLET STORES. They are pictured in the outlets black friday ad. Me and a couple friends went to 4 sears stores last night and bought 300.00 worth. The 2 regular sears we went to didn't have any. The 2 outlet stores had them in a big wht box all mixed together. We wiped both stores out except for the torx.

The only ones with out the blasted tips were the cabinet screwdrivers.

I checked the local hometown store by me. They had a nice selection but most of the tips were non-blasted and on some the fit and finish was mediocre at best.

Yeah, I purchased some of the Craftsman Professional screwdrivers a while back. I assembled a set of tools with a bunch of things like screwdrivers, pliers, etc. An 18" Craftsman tool box was used with a socket tray to store the mobile set in. I put together a set of full polished Craftsman Professional combination wrenches in a 15 wrench pouch.

P4? I don't think that Armstrong or SK have that size even listed. I've not seen a CM Pro in that size.

I'm glad I got the driver bit handle---that seems to be a rare one

They're still sold (or at least listed) in the Craftsman Industrial catalog. It has been about a year since they were regular stock at any Sears. I've picked up a few here and there on clearance as spares for my set.

Just hit mine. Got a complete Torx regular length set, a bunch of long slotted, and P4. I already have everything else. Bought the last #2 for a backup since it's the most used one. Spent $50. Was trying for a stubby Torx set but they only had 4 of the sizes so I passed on those.
