Thanks for posting the deal. I purchased the same set from my local industrial tool dealer for $74.98 last Saturday. The sales person matched wihatools.com's current price.

I've never seen this Wiha MicroBit Ratchet Set go this low!

Because that set will allow you to access just about any small precision fastener. It's a high quality German Wiha set vs. a no name set from China. (Wiha is the about the best there is for precision drivers).

I have that set and I don't use it all that often but when I do, it's worth it's weight in gold.

jumped on this myself. I have bunch of random precision stuff here and there and I still find myself missing a size here and there when working on little stuff like cell phones or laptops. I just like having this kind of stuff available. I HATE it when I come across a little fastener and I don't have something to fit it with all the tools I have! lol.

I stripped a screw on my laptop hard drive. It is still in there a year later lol. I hope it won't happen again with this set

Aren't these ratchets Taiwanese? Are all the bits wiha in this set? I have the smaller set and not all of the bits are Wiha.

OK, I looked at a sample of bits and they all say Wiha except the nutdriver bits which only have the size stamped on them.

I've looked at this set a few times but didn't jump on it... Couldn't resist this time, even with the crappy CAD-USD exchange rate. Along with the KC precision screwdriver stand and a few different brands of precision screwdrivers to decide which handles I like.

To the best of our knowledge the micro bits in the 75965 are made in Germany by Wiha. The bit ratchet is made in Taiwan and branded as Wiha.

We do our best to keep up with the COO for Wiha items -- but as someone mentioned, Wiha USA does make sets/includes tools that are sourced from other manufacturers. Shoot us an email if you have any specific questions and we'll be happy to look into it.

In principle, the substantial transformation of a product is intended as a change in the harmonized system coding. Well "multiple, other, or list the 2 countries.", but Germany is clearly not accurate and yes, I expect the site to be accurate.

Mine came in, all the slotted, phillips, and torx bits had Wiha on them. The hex and external hex didn't have any brand. Ratchet feels nice and solid.

. Smaller than I thought (which is good for electronics work), and much heavier (also good). The ratchet seems solid too. Haven't used it yet, but well pleased.

Now, is the long silver colored long bar an extension or does it have some other purpose, I'm not aware of?

Yeah I got mine for electronics too, hopefully it can get the stripped hard drive screw out of my laptop. I think the long piece is an extension.

Did yours come with some strips of paper in it? They might be some type of absorbent pads and I chucked them away. Going to have to find some kind of dessicant to put in there

Me too. Threw them out. I thought they were packing trash. Better go check my recycle can now.

It's simply an extension (75900) to be used in conjunction with the Micro Bit Handle (75801)
