Hi everyone. I put this up about a year ago & have been working on it over the Winter finishing the inside. Not quite all done yet but thought I would post my progress so far. I've been on here once in awhile to get a few ideas & there are plenty here. I wish I could spend more time on here but I'm too busy in the shop! :bounce:
My shop is 24' x 26' x 10' (wall), has radiant floor, two skylights, A/C (not in yet), 600 watt surround sound, internet, cable & phone. This is an addition to my 30' x 26' garage. I used Gorilla Rack for a workbench (8' x 30" + 4' attached shelves) after much agonizing on what to do. I'm going to build a new welding bench since my old one is too small that will have a vise. Other than that, not much else to say. If anybody has any questions, feel free to ask. :)

wow!! Nice "drool factor" with that space. Bet you can't wait to fill it up with equipment and tools?

Great looking shop! Got any problems with the height using the lift? I was told at a min. to get a 12' ceiling so I can walk under the car.

Thanks everybody! Don't worry, it's been dirty already! I need to keep doing side jobs to keep the project going. LOL Got an engine job to finish up in the next few weeks & there are more tools & equipment in there now.

zrxrider, the only problem I've have with height was with a full size van. My Dodge Ram w/8' bed will go all the way up & clear the door by 3" at the back of the cap. Only some cars can I leave the hood up but that's no big deal to me. I was careful where I placed the lift and the Challenger lift has more versatility for vehicle placement than some of the others I looked at, so that helps as well. My concern was the cost to add this on. When I got to adding up what I wanted, it was way too much because it was building a building beside what I had due to higher wall/ceiling height. It was much cheaper to tie into my existing garage & continue on. With custom made scissor trusses & high pitch (or roof pitch) door tracks, I got the height I need for only about $400 more than standard scissor trusses & door tracks.

I attached a picture of the outside so you can see what it looks like. It's 55' x 26' now.

The 10' is sill & I have a 13' inside peak height. I would of had 12' peak but that was not enough so that's why I had custom trusses made.

The cathedral ceiling in your shop was a brilliant move with all the additional space it provided. Keep us all posted!
