Wrong question.

It's the equipment you dont want to cheap out on. Chinese made anything i will take a pass on. Having a tool that fails means busted knuckes or over/under torqued bolts. Having a cheap chinese 2 post lift fail on you while using it can mean death. I know this as it happened recently in my area. It happens from time to time.

Stay away from chicrap equipment that lift spins or press stuff. Really.

Also grinder discs you really want to pay that extra.

First thing that comes to mind, tap & die set.
Cheap ones are simply not worth owning.

PPE is probably the most important place to have the right stuff and have it be good. A missing eye due to uncomfortable safety glasses or face shield aint replaceable.

Anything you put pressure on, stand under, or that spins fast.

Once saw a cheap blade guard get hung up on a circular saw blade. Fortunately it was an 18 volt saw and not a corded version.

Drill bits, taps and dies.I learned my lesson on the drill bits once, bought a set of brad point drill bits from a Homier tool sale for $10.00.Would not go into the material, wood at all.I ended up throwing them away and ordering a $40.00 set from Rockler that actually went through it.

Never understood why anyone one would ever buy a cheap tool. Cheap in price, sure we all like a bargain, but cheap in quality never made sense to me.

"Most expensive tool you will ever buy is a cheap one" - my dad

For me it is any kind of saw or grinder. Too easy to get hurt if something doesn't hold up.
