This is the exact same light as the Capri Tools LED light that has gotten rave reviews from many members on here. It hasn't been on Amazon in months, or eBay.. I paid close to $60 for mine I think.. $39.99 here under a different name. Many people will tell you this is worth every penny.. Demo videos from Capri tools can be found on YouTube. 300 or 350 lumens and 5 hours of runtime I belive. Also what's good is you can use the light while it's plugged into the charger. This will light up an enitre engine bay.. I have most of Milwaukee's lights and this is still one of the best.

Thanks. I was just reviewing old posts about the Capri last week as I need a new light, but I couldn't find one for a decent price.

What's the light output compared to a standard 26 watt fluorescent work light?

Can anyone confirm the Neiko is indeed the exact same thing? My biggest concern is if the Neiko has over charge protection on the battery. I don't wrench for a living so this may not get used for a few weeks, but I want it to be charged for when the time comes and I do need it.

I can't tell you if it's the same or not, but I've been pretty pleased with mine for the few months I've had it. Also only using it occasionally and the battery life has been great so far. I try not to keep it plugged in all the time but have left it plugged in a few times without a problem.

Dunno, but I can tell you this. I'm happy I've kept my arm burners. I've replaced all the 75W incandescent bulbs in them with these:

$8 a piece is ok, but I just found a 2-pack the other day for $12.

They're brighter than any other drop light I've owned, and have a plastic covering that's stronger even than the silicone coated glass bulbs (and even if you crack the cover, it'll still keep working).

Anyway, I'll take LED over fluorescent any day. As for cordless vs corded, that's a different debate. I've got several of both.

Jet.com has the Capri for 39.97. It is the 60 Smd Led Cordless Lithium Ion Rechargeable Black Work Light Li On Battery.
