For sale: Challenger Model 64000 Multi-Purpose Scissor Lift. Works great and looks great. Lifts approx 6,000 lbs, to a height of 24 inches. Great for homeowner or Professional shop. This is a solid lift, not a Harbor Freight Chinese job. Lift is only 37 inches wide when arms are in and only stands 4 1/2 inches. You will not even know its there when you have a car parked on top of it. Price is $600 F-I-R-M. If I don't sell it, I will keep it, even though I have another lift in my home. This lift must be bolted to the floor. A similar lift was on Craigslist the other day (for $700) and was gone the next day. You can also see it on Crigslist (Tampa Bay Area).

bump for you :)

I wish I can afford that...question though, is there a minimum thickness of the floor to be bolted on??

Reason I ask is that (off topic), greg smith equipment midrise lift is similar in design (drive over), but it stated that it needs a requirement of 4" thick slab. I dont see why it has to have a minimum thickness if its just sitting there.

I would understand if it was a 2 post...but on a lift like this..I dunno.

On topic...hows the underside clearance on this lift?? what can/cannot do with this lift??

thank you.

Answer (per Challenger manual): 4 inch minimum, with a minimum compression strength of 3,000 psi, and reinforced with steel mesh or bar per commercial practice. (Is mine all that? Couldn't tell ya..) It hasn't ripped out of the floor yet, so I guess I'm good.

I did just basic stuff. Brakes, oil changes, stuff like that. I guess you could change engines and trannies, but you might need some jackstands to hold the car if you actually wanted to replace a ******. I got a call from a guy today who asked if you could back the car on the lift, so the hydrolic cylinder would be towards the rear of the car. Challenger say's don't do it, so I never did. I'm pretty smart, but I'm sure Challenger is smarter when it comes to their lift. I have two front wheel drive cars. I would consider dropping out the engine and ******, if I had to.

I hope this helps you out. If any members have any imput, please speak up. Thanx.

I still got the lift boys and girlies. And the beer is still ice cold... Don't delay, act now. I will throw in an old wooden Safety Kleen wooden creeper. (a $29.99 value when new, like 20 years ago.)
