I was at Lowe's today and saw this new Porter Cable Tool Cabinet. I didn't see a price tag but took a few pictures. Didn't seem like anything special really. :dunno:

Next we will see Porter Cable hand tools. Dewalt and Milwaukee did the same thing so why not PC. The box is even similar to the Milwaukee

****-ugly, but goes great with your Ford 8N!

If i am not mistaken aren't porter cable and Dewalt one in the same

Porter Cable is owned by Stanley/Black & Decker, just as Dewalt is. As is Bostich/Facom/Mac/Proto/Vidmar/etc.

They are not the same, though obviously many OEMs are the same between brands.

I like the slant lid style where you get a clear opening to that section but they would have to pay me to put that in my garage. Talk about getting beat with an ugly stick!

I bet it's the same OEM as the Milwaukee box. They are very similar and the drawers close the same way. All in all they are VERY similar. I saw $259 for the top and $379 for the bottom. I may be off a few $ because I didn't take a picture and just kinda remember what I saw

I'm envisioning the Bostitch burnt orange and black one that should be in Wal-Mart stores just in time for Christmas.

It's the same basic body as the husky boxes a year or so ago, the ones that now come in "premium" Dewalt and Milwaulkee flavors. The husky is a good box (had two), and the red and yellow variants seem to be made of thicker material and have some upgraded features such as lighting or power...
Don't care for the color or drawer lay out, but it's a reasonably stout box for the money.
