Holden Engineering did the turnkey job. Delivered, setup and test complete in my already prepared pits for just under $3900 FL tax incl. Figure another $500 to prepare lift pits and the total cost completed ready to go was about $4500.

I am pretty mechanically inclined, and have done all my own auto work for the last fifty years. But this install requires some heavy lifting, and complex hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic tasking. Plus just getting it into the garage requires major lifting capacities. My advice to most guys is to use an installer who will deliver.

Phil Holden has an excellent reputation on Garage Journal being one of the recognized experts on this piece of equipment. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He worked closely with me from the very beginning to insure a successful project. Thanks again Phil.

Do you have contact info for holden? I'm actually emailing with an everlift/EAE representative now. They have an impressive product. My concern is warranty.

Tell Phil Gordon recommended him on Garage Journal. He's a very nice guy who treats his customers like a good friend.

I originally thought about going direct to China and importing myself. Shipping costs were the deal breaker if you didn't order at least three (3) per container. Second the import fees, custom duties, etc. etc. added up faster than lawyers fees in a train wreck. Finally, the job of assembling is pretty complex; nothing insurmountable, but in my case Phil had the item, was close enough to deliver and install so it was a no brainer to use him. Glad I did.

I am thinking about purchasing this lift as well. Can you tell me the height of the platforms at the LOWEST lock setting?

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom. The lowest locked height is 16.0" from the top of the lift platform to the garage floor elevation. Actually it is a half inch higher in front than the rear because the floor is pitched to drain.

The literature indicates there is a full 70 inches of lift. I am 5'10" and can walk around anywhere underneath the fully lifted car without fear of bumping my head.
