Any recommendations for replacement windows in a blast cabinet?

I'm looking to upgrade my auction blast cabinet.

The windows are hazy, gunky, and pitted. Has anyone replaced the material in theirs? What material and thickness works best?

I'm thinking about some .093" polycarbonate (Lexan) from Menards. Is this a decent choice?

I'd get a real piece of glass cut. Then stick those replacement tear offs on it. One thing hf did right I guess lol

The one we have at the hangar uses "stock size" glass that can be bought for about $2 each, pre cut at HD.
You can make it last longer by putting 2in wide strips of scotch tape across the inside. When the first clear area gets hazy/frosted, just tear off the next strip.

We replace(I) when a ******* uses the cabinet without the lense.
I use masking tape on the top,bottom and sides to help keep the lense on.
It is much easier to replace the lense versus the glass.
We get the lenses and tungsten tips from a blasting company in Houston.

We always had thin clear acetate template stock in the shop, and a piece of that the same size placed under the glass worked great and was easy to replace.

the setup i like is to have 2 layers of real glass. Top layer (closest to the user/on the outside) is a layer of 'double thickness' glass. Then have them cut several sheets the same size in 'single thickness' glass for the inside. When the inside gets hazy, replace it with a new sheet of single thickness.

I use a panel of lexan, however I have a section of window screen spaced 1" from the window to deflect most the blast bounce back. The lexan is looking a bit foggy after about 15 years

got tired of paying for crappy plastic sheets to protect the poly carbonate glass that always hazed after short use..
Finally went to local glass shop and had regular offcut glass cut in bulk (they take throw away glass and cut out dozens of pieces for very cheap)

Glass gets pitted - just take out and throw away. Cheap, effective and gives you clear view for as long as you keep the overspray of bead/sand from bouncing off the glass.

Been doing this for years with no issues.
