There was Cadillac dealership here that had chrome vises on pretty painted benches in their quick service bays. The waiting room was above it so the car owners could watch the oil being changed. The bay's even had an Italian tile floor that was rough as hell. Most of the quick serv techs had holes in the knees of their work pants.

That's a lot of work getting it that smooth to Chrome, might have to go through a few vises looking for one with clean castings!
