Looking forward to see this barn turn into a nicely finished garage and work space.

Do your plans include making it weather tight and insulating the walls?

Thanks Jyzze! TYV!

So it was about 2.30 at night at saturday night when we got the engin running and it´s been running nice those 250km that I´ve driven to today from sunday. Had allready forgotten how crazy that car is cause its been about 3 months since I drived it last time. Its only 250hp but its enough for now. I let you know if it needs more after I go to track day at next month!

Been quiet because too hot summer and the barns walls are just 2x4 and normal board and 5mm caps between every board... So its either colder or hotter than outside... But I have mede an table and cleared some room and next need to do some shelves.

Here is some updates about my daily 2.8 turbo that I've owned now for almost 4 years. A rabbits bigger cousin ran to my front and destroyed intercooler + ac and watercoolers and partly also the bumber so fixed and updated the front with new oem ac and watercooler and aftermarket Mitsubishi EVO 7-9 ic. Also replaced all brake rotors and pads and that same time painted calipers to yellow. Wheels are painted with rubber paint to white that stayed as it like first 500meters...... Need to paint them with real paint this winter.

And the pics.

This weekend we move some livingroom shelves to garage and cleanup some chaos thats been buildingup there. Need to take some pics before I start to clean it. Been thinking if I would build a working table to my motorbike so it gets to the streets finally mayby for next summer.

Also need some more light in there.

Last saturday I finally got the inspiration to start to build/repair the Honda to the "Vapuksi ajoon" that means I can drive it at first of may :D First i teared down that ugly brainfart steelplate rearend from last spring (pic1) and then cut the frame about right after seat (pic2). Also there was some running issues last year so started to figure out the problem. I chainged sparkplugs last spring so it was the first place to start looking if there was some cable lose. And there was or actually cyl 3 cable wasnt even in place :lol_hitti I put that in place and so it runs with all 4 cylinders  Damn I've missed that 600cc smooth sound <3

Bike look's like badass machine ;)
And it's going to look even more badass! :bounce:

nicely down! those 2.8 are nice engines when they are running properly.
Yeah they are great daily even tho the fuel consuming is bit too high... But it is 250hp turbo engine so it's ok. I've chainges the timing chaings and drived about 50tkm after it.

Nice office and that loft expansion was great idea. 1st of may is almost here, is your bike ready for it?

Yes! Almost :D at monday I was going to have first drive since 2017 and started the engine. Well there was some exhaust leak so i tried to tighten the bolts without any results. So I ordered new seal for it and yesterday started to change them and notised that no.1 cylinders seal was on the floor.... And I painted exhaustmanifold with heat paint but it was only for 300celsius so it started to burn off... but maybe today I get it ready so I can drive it maybe tomorrow :bounce:

Thanks! Finally got the Honda ready and went to testdrive. Aand depressed of the bad running of engine... Everything is ok until speedo hits +65kmh and then starts all issues, mayby cause I deleted the ram-air system that they have now it gets too much fuel compared to air so I need to make some modifications next but first need to find motivation :D

Not much, Honda ain't running but it now has a Koso digital gauge but mostly it has just been waiting for motivation :D

I bought a MB Vito with cdi engine that worked well for month and now it doesnt run at all... So that is a good reason to cleanup the barn to fit the merc in and yesterday was the day to pull it in with an oldworkhorse Valmet 502 :D

I have been thinking that i need to make shelves under the table and found scrap wood from making that table so now "they got a place to be"

Pics:
View media item 97842Table before. And almost rest of the barn was as bad or even worse than top of that table :(

View media item 97841The shelf.

View media item 97840Journey to barn starts :D

View media item 97839Get in!

View media item 97838Now just need to change the o rings from fuel lines and maybe it runs again :D I hope.

Well. "alot" has happened in 3 months. Lots of work at day job so much that almost nothing has happened at garage/shop but. Yesterday I sold that Vito and what a relief to get rid of it :D Finally we got electricity to the loft! No need for a extencion cord from downstairs anymore :D So there has been somethings happening.

So got rid of the Vito and that gave place to my Opel that has problems with charge the battery... Today I bought new voltage regulator for the alternator and try to change that at coming weekend. What a nice way to use the bday (whitch is this saturday) under 12year old v6 :D :D

Pics:
View media item 100379Already started the project @ last saturday. Need to fix the bumber so thats why its off and change intercooler and a/c cooler.

View media item 100381So I need to get this....

View media item 100376....to there... Nice to have some room in there. Well that is a water hose next to the alternator and it's leaking so need to fix that too.

So. Not much of progress here.. The alternator is a pain to get out off from car and new one costs over 1200€ here in finland :/ and today got some progress on the Honda, might drive that at this summer hope fully. The main reason why nothing is done mostly is our 3 months old daughter and my business and dayjob is keeping me very busy.

Finally changed the alternator and ofcourse the battery is so empty that it wouldn't start.... Also changed bearings to frontshocks and oem ic and ac cooler to front, still need to get some plastic putty to fix bumber. It's already plasticwelded only needs the final touch.

Sadly I tell you that the Honda is sold as a project to a friend. Just have not enough time to get that ready.

And the happy NEWS :D another friend got me a 2005 Super black bird just need to get it from him :D :D

E:

Also sold my Vectra at saturday. So now I only have the new daily and that is a Toyota Avensis 2.0d4d (my15)
¨Wrapping it at some point w/ matt charcoal and glossblack roof

E2:
I did trade the Toyota to Volvo V70 D5 AWD my10. So nice to have a car w/ "4 wheel drive" yes it is Haldex and not a real 4x4 and lockers but makes a hell of differense to 2wd's that I've been driving last 12 years.
