I never heard of Plomb tools before I came to GJ. I had them confused with Plumb. I do have a couple Plumb hammers which I like & consider good quality. I have since come across a Plomb 5349 socket that I might hold on to. Some of these old vintage tools are really cool.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for plugging our site! We have a lot of fun with it and enjoy the email visitors send in. I've answered all kinds of questions from "what is this tool", to "I broke my socket, will you give me a free replacement?" And someone who wanted to buy ironing board covers! Never found out why they wrote us.

It's a real thrill when an unknown tool comes in, and that happens a few times a year. I just added some photos to the Aviation page. Some unknowns came in from WA state, and we got photos of a very early chisel.

I hope you and the family get over the bug soon.

I like collecting PLOMB ratchets.
I have three 3/8" drive and two 1/2" drive.....the 1/2" drive ratchets are identical though.
