At the plant I work at our day is divided into two halves, my first half is spent doing P.M.s and the remainder spent taking care of C.M.s. One of the P.M.s is servicing print heads of which I have five to do a day and require removing/installing the covers from them. Each print head has eleven screws holding the covers on, six on the outside and five on the inside. The outer six are SS and about 3/4" long and the inner five are black parkerized and about 1/2" long.

Little over a year ago I picked up a 300mm long Wiha #2 Phillips standard soft grip screwdriver just for this particular P.M. Well after one year and roughly 13,500 screws later I'm happy to report it has preformed flawlessly. The little white Phillips picture on the end of the handle and the size printing along the side have long since worn off, but the tip shows little to no wear at all. I could not be more happy with it and for around 9 bucks, some of the best money I've spent!!

Wiha is/was was my first German screwdrivers I purchased; I have been very happy with them. The steel and heat treatment of the tips is awesome; the precision small screwdrivers are great, they fit the fastener and are incredibly durable!! which model of screwdriver did you buy?

I have some of the small precision Wiha drivers that I bought for model railroad and other hobby stuff. I tweaked the tip on one of the tiny flat heads by applying a bit much torque on a stuck screw, but otherwise they've been great.

I'll stick in a vote for Wiha as well. I have the below set and they are probably my most commonly used tools. They've always been, and still are, fantastic. The tips wear less than my Instinct set which I use less often and they cost about a third as much. I only wish they were easier to shop in greater variety for locally.
