Snap on vs Matco impact sockets

Title says it all. I'm talking strictly impact sockets. I bought a set of 1/2 semi deep 15-27mm snap on impact sockets, (the them I was suckered into a sale, and I HAD to buy something lol) I heard they're the best. But the drive end seems to round out super quick. Also noticed my Matcos are thinner, and seem much more sturdy. At least to me, what's your opinion?

I like both brands for impact sockets. I really only recommend to people that they spend the coin on snap on impact swivels over a china brand. I bought the 1/2 semi deep set last year when they had the free standard set that came with it.

I have had great results with both and can say the Matco hold up better imo

And on swivel impacts the pinless from Matco are best compared to snap on but with Matco shifting overseas not sure if you will get the pinless especially since Armstrong is having issues with demand these days

I have had both and both work well for me. My Cornwell impact sockets were junk! They are at home in my home box.they are way too soft

I replaced a lost Gearwrench 1/4" drive deep 5/16" impact socket with a Snap-on, and it's definitely deformed at both ends worse than the Gearwrench sockets around it that have years more use on them.

I've see tons that are deformed like crazy but apparently still work. The drive end is what bugs me. My craftsman sockets have worn better. I've never seen a snap on impact socket break. But plenty worn out

I've almost bought those. They just don't seem as good to me do I never jumped on it. I'm kinda picky with what I buy from them, everything's good I just am biased towards the other two. How are the chrome sockets?
