OK, fellas... Here's the problem:

The Home Depot Clearance Threads are REALLY, REALLY popular. To some people, these threads are a great place to scope deals for later profit. I don't really have anything against these people, I just can't relate to them.

To other people, these threads are a great place to troll and make fun of other users for fun. I can't relate to these people either... but on top of that, I don't really want to serve/host these people.

To yet another group of people, these threads are a great place to find deals on stuff they actually need. Now, these are my people. These are the folks I really care about. These are the folks I want to host.

The problem is, I don't have enough time to monitor these threads day in and day out to make sure that this last group of people have a clean enough thread to get what they need - ya know? I set rules and tell people that if they don't have a deal to post, then don't post... But folks either don't see this or ignore it.

I'm hoping that with a new thread, people will see it... and people won't ignore the rules.

So, let's try this again.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DEAL OR A COMMENT RELATIVE TO A DEAL, DO NOT POST ON THIS THREAD. THIS ISN'T A THREAD FOR YOUR OPINION ON ANYTHING.

Further, if you feel like calling someone a name or just being rude in general... well, please find another forum. You aren't welcome here.

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan, can we have a separate discussion thread, or are questions about Home Depot deals relevant in this thread?

Ran into a situation this weekend where I found one of the 10in tile saws and managed to get it to sco but had it taken away after they scanned it. Even offered to pay last clearance and they wouldn't allow it. How do people get the big penny items out that can't be lifted up to scan on the sco?

Also. Had my first successful change to remote store session from the PCA. Same version string as others but it worked. Not sure why.

I don't know if they're still there or not but at the Waldorf, MD Home Depot, there was two M18 deals in the clearance bin. One was a 5/8" rotary hammer for $90 (normally $190) and the other was a sawzall for $97 (normally $130)

If we started or moved this thread to free parking could we talk about whatever there with no issues? I'm told that place is post whatever you want.

Saw this yesterday while browsing the price check app. Nothing else caught my eye.

There are rules for the Free Parking thread. Personally, I stopped visiting most of these Hot Deals catchall threads because of the paucity of deals posted.

Went in for a Ridgid miter saw, left with a DeWalt compressor instead!

Ridgid MS255SR 10" Sliding Double-Compound Miter Saw
Normally 399.99, marked down at some stores to 349.99 although I found it for 315.00 at my local store. I didn't see any stock left but it wasn't clearanced so they should be able to backfill/order in for you.

DeWalt D55146 4.5Gal / 200psi Air Compressor
Normally 329.99, marked down to 88.03!!!

...and for fun; here is the Fiat stuffed with the DeWalt.

My local Home Depot flipped their outward facing computers around and slid them all the way to employee side of the counter. They are trying to discourage customer use now.

Some Bosch laser levels were at .03 pricing yesterday.

I was able to find both the "torpedo" GPL3T and the GLL1P in stock tonight at .03 pricing and came here to post - only to see 2 people already have!

The Bosch 16-Ft Aluminum Level Rod at .03 pricing also looks to have dropped to .03 pricing at the same time. No stock for me.

Are you looking for the boxes vs the workbench? Check the end of the closed HD deal thread for pictures of the box.

There should be no discussion of penny items in this thread. This is a deals only thread. Penny items are no longer allowed per corporate. You should buy the items before they penny if you want a deal.

Cree light bulbs are down to 97 cents.
powercare Sku# 930148 is 7.53
Dewalt 1/4 sheet sander is 45.00
husky impact driver sku 988287 is down 59.00

I don't have a part number or anything, but they have Sylvania 40-watt equivalent LED bulbs for 48 cents each. But when I look online, those same bulbs are listed at a sale price of $1.99 each.:dunno: I ended up buying a ton of them because I have a lot of 3- and 4-bulb fixtures and a 40-watt equivalent LED is perfect for them.

I just bought a penny Kohler faucet today that rang up at SCO with no problem. Seemed like a hot deal to me.

which kohler?
tia

Don't have the SKU handy but it was the Georgeson brushed nickel tub/shower faucet. Most stores dropped these to a penny last month and have been cleared out already. Found one today and just wanted to test the new penny policy.
