I've been sorting out Craftsman stuff from my "hoarding". Over 50 sets of sockets sorted by drive/type in bags. A few hundred unsorted. A whole bunch of wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, etc. One set of 255 pieces, most of them new, that consists of all 3 drives, metric and SAE, regular and deep, ratchets, extensions, etc and sets of combo wrenches (the 255 piece set not in pictures). All older USA, some -V-, =V=, E, G, EE, laser etched, etc, etc, etc. A few collectible, most just good solid user sockets. I'll scour through my stuff and throw in everything Craftsman I have, I know I have a near perfect 1950's ratchet, for instance. I won't be throwing in and counting things like allen wrenches to up the count, the least item that will count is a screwdriver or a socket.

$1 a piece, I pay shipping. Only catch is it's a take all deal, or at least a very large lot. Expect that you'll pay for between 1000 and 1500 pieces total. I'll count them and give you a total if we make a deal.

Only one way that I'll sell less than the whole lot: I'll sell 250 or more, but the catch is I pick which ones go into the lot. I'll be fair, but don't expect that it will be all ratchets and no small sockets. I'll also take into account your request to have all 3/8" drive, a mix of drives, or similar requests that don't involve extensive sorting. I won't sort by -V- stamp, for instance. The sets will go out as they're currently bagged.

I'll also sell the 250 piece lot, and include the Craftsman plastic blow molded drawer cabinet they are sorted into, that was made to hold that exact set. $250 for that set, postage paid in US.

A take all deal will trump all smaller deals, I'll hold all smaller offers for a day or so until I'm sure there's no large lot buyer.

Please no offers to buy a specific 1955 era, unknurled, 18mm 3/8" drive socket or such. I don't have the time or desire to go through and sort them out to find that exact unobtanium item you need. I know that would be the best way to sell them, and not everyone wants a large lot. I've priced them accordingly. I also know that the best way to sell them is on ebay. I've sold approaching 2000 of them already that way; and can do so if I need to. I just had thought I would post them here, somewhat in response to a thread where we talked about that type of sale. Sorry for the attitude, I just want it clear what I'm trying to accomplish and what I'm able to do. I'm trying to reduce my hoarding, and don't have the time or ambition to sell 1000 sockets one at a time, or a few at a time.

PM me with serious inquiries, or to discuss, or feel free to make ridiculous offers, but be prepared for me to ignore those! $1 apiece in lots is about as low as I care to go; again there is the ebay alternative. You can also PM comments on my intelligence, acumen, or parentage also. I've got a thick skin and can easily ignore them if needed.

Thanks!

dave
