Some of the items are cheaper now vs black Friday. Toolboxes for example. And the dewalt stuff I can get a better deal at Grainger by a lot. Thanks anyway

^^^That is correct, its like Black Friday started way earlier this year. Although, I'll be more than happy to get a new Werner 5' ladder and three step stool

You guys see that dewalt dropped thier 12" flexvolt miter saw down to $599. Looks like they are trying to compete with milwaukee at that price.

I was worried about that too. I'm glad this is a .pdf - saved to my computer

I'm halfway considering the 46" Husky box at $199. I know they're not great but for what I need it doesn't need to be.

and I may grab the 40V Ryobi blower just for the battery at $99

You'd be better off getting two of the Waterloo Bottom Chests from Lowes as the Husky Box and Waterloo Boxes are more or less the same thin-gauge metal

I've had my eye on a m12 drill/driver combo for a while... but I'm not sure it's worth dragging myself out through the crowds to save $30

Probably available online. In May/June they had the same thing for 99, it was easily available for a few weeks, though its holiday time and people that dont know and need gifts might eat em up quick.

I have a gut feeling the local stores have stock (though covered with Black Drapes) on that $99 M12 deal posted earlier. They're just waiting 'till Black Friday for the official unveiling.

I'm keeping an eye on that 3-Step Stool and $27 Werner Ladder---oh and that 99 cent Poinsettias

I think the best deal in there may be the 12" Rigid Sliding Miter Saw for $299. I have one of those older ones and love mine to death. Great deal there. - Paul

I think that is the current price ($199), at least it was a week ago.

I just bought the 10" slider, and it is a nice saw.

BUT if you buy this saw be sure to measure your space, my 10" Ridgid was 42" from full ext back to tip of adj knob in front - 42"!

Yes, this 12" is not really a portable job site kind of saw in any way. It is a permanent workshop kind of saw. Replacement for a radial arm saw (almost). I use a 10" non slider Ryobi for portable use. - Paul

On its own I would agree. It's big and heavy. With the stand it folds up and easily movable. To load in and out of my truck I walk it back handles first (wheels toward truck. Grab the bottom and lift up. Handles slide nice on my bed (no liner) and is nothing to load. Ramped trailer is obviously easier. Takes 30 seconds to set up plug in and get cutting. Set mine up 3 years ago and checked it several times but have yet to make a second adjustment. Cuts super square and powerful enough to do everything I've ever needed.

Most of the deals will also be available online too. I think some of the bigger items were only available for purchase in store only though last year like the big tool boxes

Holy ****! I had NO idea Ryobi had stepped up their game on the 40V batteries. A 5ah is just $139.00 at HD(.com). That would be awesome in the 14" chainsaw!

Was able to get a sneak peek on some of their Black Friday items in-person. Funny, that the manager didn't bother covering the items in Black Garage Bags all the way down. If you're shopping hand tools and accessories, I wouldn't advise buying anything 'till Friday when the Black Friday prices go into effect. The price differences are a few dollars between now and then and the gap is narrowed when coupons are used. Some of the prices look inflated--the Dremel 4000 is $89 whereas the same kit I was able to score for $69 earlier this year online. I can much of these items heading towards the clearance section at the end of next month.

Who uses coupons every time they shop at Home Depot?

Its a shock they are not putting any specials on compact power tools. This year's Black Friday is well--not much attractive at all.

Dewalt Miter Saw is going to be on sale as well as Light Bulbs, Vacuums, and other smaller items.

Still worth an early morning run to embrace this time of year :beer:

Ign, see the Ryobi Appreciation Thread in the tools section, where we review this guy. I have most of the 40v tools and they are mostly very good with much more power than the 18v tools. Heavier though. - Paul
