Forged steel 90,000psi, 27lbs, 5" jaw width.

I had my eyes on this one for a few months to get as a portable vise to hitch mount to my truck and to a mobile tool cart. Price finally dropped to point where I couldn't say no!

7 left as of 10:30PM EST.

I have this same vise at work. It is very smooth and has held up to a lot of ******* engineers banging on it like it is an anvil.

That's one of the nice things about a forged vise---you can actually use the anvil section without fear of it cracking. I'm one of those "******* engineers" that bought the German Ridgid and use the anvil for flattening things.

There's also a "Used - Like New" one for $120 from Amazon Warehouse Deals. And a 6" one for $170 (vs $190 new).

Does anybody know where these are made? I'm suspecting they're out of Poland or another Eastern European country.

I'm sure it'll drop again soon. More site visits = more product interest = potentially lower prices, that's Amazon's way, until the bandwagon joins the purchasing race, then the prices go up again to get those impulse buyers. Its a whole new level of supply vs. demand

Price is back up to $159.

I already spent so much money this month, so what is another $133.

Thanks for the post. This will be much better than my 3 1/2" Chinese Craftsman one in my garage.
