Next up get hole ready, removed 3" of sand.So as not to disturb soil (clay in this case) I used a sharp shovel and skimmed of soil a inch at a time.If you look closely at top of pic, you can see how low mesh was in concrete. The finished hole is 12"-14" deep, I did this to make sure poured concrete will be level as existing floor has a slope.Dannmar scissor lift needs to be level.

Dug hole for my bucket (this will catch any run-off from rain/snow) will be using the top of a plastic catch basin for grate

Rebar almost done (some more wire, and cones needed)(will pour floor first, then wall second)
Changed location of drain, thus extra hole, so added rebar to extra hole)PVC pipe for hydraulic line to pump (mounted on wall)you can see plastic catch basin top installed, I cut the catch basin 3 inches from top. Fits over bucket perfectly, some sealant to secure.yes it will be straight when done:lol_hitti
Drilled small circle of holes in floor directly below pump, smashed with sledge, eyed up hole from pit, and drove PVC in general direction of hole through sand under floor, 2minutes, and a shop vac to **** out sand ,done! Sorry no pics of this.

To be continued!

Here is the motorcycle table installed, "steel plank" height will be adjusted once my floor is installed
The bike lift has pull out wheels, I just roll it out of the way if I need to for car service.
Table and steel planks rest on a 1" relief formed on side wall form

did you mix bags or did you have a truck deliver some? (if bags, what did you use?)

I used bags, sakrete (general purpose) I believe (Home Depot) 50 bags approx total on 2 pours.
A small shovel of Portland in each 3 bag mix

Used a electric mixer, I have a sloped driveway, So pushing a wheelbarrow up driveway did not appeal to me, plus a strong brother in law did the heavy lifting:lol_hitti

Thanks for posting that so many years ago.
Came here because of another thread. That is one very cool job.
I figure I could do this, now that I have seen your work. Of course, I have about 50 dozen other things to finish first.
