Aiming for 36" but some how end up with a 39" height work bench, after the last minute 3" caster instead of a huge 1" bolt as adjustable leg.... but still worked out great. at least it is finished..... probably not cheaper than buying but at least I get the custom size I wanted and heavy duty, plus some material left for something else....I jumped on top of it a few times no issue.... at least its a 4 piece design and can be taken down into pieces.

BOM
2"x2"x10gauge tubes sold in 24' length needed 4x 33.5" for legs 2x 16" for cross brace

1"x3"x10guage tubes.. soled in 24' needed 2x 70" since my base is 74"

1x of 2"x3/16x3' flats cut to 2"x2" squares for capping top of 2x2 and as taps for attaching screws to the wood piece.
1x of 2"x 1/4x3' flats cut into 2"x2" squares for capping bottom of the legs and drilling /tapping holes in the center with jig

Ikea casters Non-Marring type with stops supposedly 300LB rated I had M10x1.25 threads.
Ikea solid top... some discontinued model solid wood for kitchen cabinets 24"x96"x1" I think... cut to 84" for my requirement

4x 3" length 1/2x13TPI Bolt
4x washer
4x 1/2x13TPI thread coupling

Thx for all the folks suggestions in these threads.

Both are from IKEA, first one is solid wood 1-1/4, second one is 1-1/2, I think it is particle wood, but haven't saw it so not 100%. They were $30 on sale, supposedly for kitchen countertops.

Caster for the second table is a M10x1.5 thread stem 2" caster from Amazon $15... apparently IKEA discontinued their stemmed casters... that one locked pretty well, if I set it locked on all four caster, table doesn't move, and rolls very smooth... as far as if it is good lasting caster.... only time would tell.
