FWIW, After hours of research, I've found the mothership for those little flat spring clips which retain the friction drawer slides used on so many boxes; Matco, NAPA, Proto, Craftsman, Lumidor and finally Waterloo. Nearly all the boxes in the US are actually made by Waterloo. go to http://www.waterlooindustries.com/ Service Parts Phone:1-800-833-4405 and they'll sell them direct for $1.09 each plus $2 shipping, so get lots of extras.
They are also available from sears parts direct for twice the price.

) for an old matco tool box. A little over $1 each, plus $3 shipping on the entire package. Much cheaper than Mac, matco, kennedy and craftsman. While you are on the phone, waterloo also carries most common keys for ~$3. Just FYI if you need one.
I think they sell a lot of them.
