I did not want to fill up the HD hot deal thread but my $349.00 price glitch box arrived today. A big thank you to javier h224. Wish I had ordered two.

Mine is already at local service center but they haven't called me yet to schedule delivery.

edit: they just called me - delivery scheduled for Friday! Yay! Need to make some space for it!

There was one location that had a sale price for 349, until Jan 29. People changed their location to that store on the web, paid for the unit + 75.00 in shipping. I didnt order one (really expected all orders to be cancelled, not filled!), semi-kicking myself for it.

Mine arrived today as well. This SUM ***** is heavy. Came in on a tractor trailer.
I paid $440 tax, tag, and title. :D

Yup.

I was going to order one and use it to replace my home built 8' workbench, but I have a lot of storage underneath said bench for rubbermaid bins, etc. The Milwaukee wouldnt work well for that.

I already have a 41" Husky toolbox top and bottom for actual tools, didnt need the drawers and such from the Milwaukee either.

Even still, that $440 shipped price was very tempting!

Since the deal's over mighta been better in Gen Tool or Free Parking. Now it's just a discussion of the product, not the deal itself.

But congrats. I haven't heard from Estes Freight yet myself which is fine 'cause I don't have time to deal w it.

That pallet will fit easily in the back of a Tundra, right? I think I'll just go pick it up. I also wish I bought 2 of them.

Mine did (Silverado). They lowered it right into the bed. The pallet is only about 24in wide. Not your standard 45x48

I bought two, and my only regret is not buying 4, or 8. 8 is the roughly the price of (1) Snap-on 52" box at the STUDENT DISCOUNT PRICE! 8 also would have lined two walls of my garage. Next time something this good pops up, if ever, I will go all in.

I was looking at these at HD myself, I even considered getting one at the regular price. They are a supper nice cabinet. I really like the slow close drawers. BCD

Mine came today. Took some head scratching on best way to get off pallet by myself in driveway. Floor jack and 2x4 blocks was my friend. Maybe 2 hour assembly, partly in dark. 30minutes of that was trying to get the keys out of the locked drawer when the tape strip was detached....

Other than that, I had to chase 3 caster bolt holes with a bottom tap. Lot of paint in start of threads.

Like everyone else, my only regret is not buying several more. Freight driver said he delivered one yesterday from the same deal and saw a few others going out on routes today.

Look at the Husky. Same regular price but a true 24" deep (these are 22")

Have a model number, I havent seen any true 24" deep Huskys around here. They have a 24 deep box but the drawers are 21.X" deep.

Your drawers are never doing to be as deep as the exterior of the box. But Husky (and all these "homeowner" boxes) are particularly bad about cheating an extra inch or so from the drawers (vs the tool truck stuff) to save a little money.

Here's an excellent write-up of the Husky, if I was paying full price I'd do this one over the Milwaukee all day long:

Ok, seriously, where are you all located? :D I'm wondering if HD managed to fulfill these orders and deliver to the west and north.

Yes, I thought you were talking about drawer depth, not outer box measurements. That new Husky does look much nicer than their other boxes. I am not satisfied with the two 52" Husky's I have now, hope to jump on some clearance boxes in the new future. Would have bought a couple of these if I could have done local pickup and I thought the orders would be cancelled since the store didnt have any inventory and its rare they do a single store pricing but ship from a warehouse.

Nw fl. Fullfilled from South Atlanta distribution. I saw a dallas, tx i think it was posted on the hd thread. That was out of atlanta too. Saw a Chicago or somewhere up there too. Somewhere in that thread was tracking info being posted. Around monday afternoon/night.

I had to knock a burr out using an angle pick, and used a rethread kit on that caster mounting hole. I also noticed a bit of surface rust on the bottom of the box but was too lazy to do anything about it. Also, whoever chose the adhesive or the amount of adhesive the Propaganda Labels are affixed with should be sacked, then taken out back and disposed of.

Northwest Arkansas here, I ordered Sunday around noon and HD still showed "being processed" until today sometime between 6:00AM and 10:00AM. I'm jealous you guys are already getting yours, Estes is estimating delivery on the 10'th, though I'm sure it'll be sooner.

I'm still kicking myself for not ordering one... Though I'm sure another deal will pop up eventually on some big tool chest...

It's weird tho, the stickers just peeled off my Milwaukee 46" upper. Now I'm curious how my 60" will go.
