bubinga is going to get mad at me for posting this, but select Home Depot locations are putting out multiple Tool Storage Chests / Cabinets at record-level low prices, ranging from Dewalt to Husky to as well as Milwaukee.
A recount of what happened today. I was just at Home Depot today to purchase a combinaton switch outlet from Leviton (a few dollars). Then walking along the front main aisle (where cashiers, CS Desk, and Self-checkout machines were), I stumbled upon tool chests. First thoughts--I told myself, "Its not much of a deal, probably in the triple digits"
Then I noticed something peculiar, where the he!! were the price tags--this was absolutely unusual. I got a hold of an associate (almost 8:30 PM), and he was curious as well as to why the prices were not listed. I went ahead and had him painstakingly do a price check on each box, and wait for it (scroll down)

Milwaukee 46" Top Chest--Clearance $50 (no joke)
I even was doubtful and shocked
I asked the associate to check again--and sure enough it was $50. I wasn't willing to haul the dam* thing, but there I was--swapped the card, tipped the loader, and off I drove. They had 3 more in stock. To play my cards right, as the top chests were stacked one on top of the other, I chose to go with the box at the top most to increase my chances of not getting something damaged.
All the boxes were intact and sealed, one was partially torn though.
It was not worth the risk, and I'll admit this was an impulse buy, now I need to figure out how to integrate it with my ecosystem. I'm out of room, but I have the 46" Husky 9-Drawer (from Black Friday)--I'm thinking about removing the wood and placing the Milwaukee on top. The Milwaukee is 200lbs--will this idea work?
Anyway, back to deal, get it while you can, and bubinga--sorry to bring this up.

Current Online Price $299
Clearance Price $50 (not a price mistake as they were eager to get rid of them--some locations don't like to stock tool chests for some odd reason--probably because of lack of demand)
