Great timing, I just discovered a japanese set like this, i wonder if both manufacturers came to the same conclusion, or if it's the same ratcheting assy. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/i-tools/4989530610186/ The ones you posted are a good price, though i like the SEK's box ends. The video is kind of a useless review without seeing them be used on an actual flare nut with a line on it. I've found that with flare nuts, how close the fit on the fastener makes a huge difference on whether or not the tool will loosen the fastener or round it.

these are a winner as long as you know the plastic sna rings will break and you have steel snap rings ready to replace them.

Wow those look identical on the ratcheting end. I would bet that they are made by the same company.

Isn't the guy saying that he used them and they are junk? That's good enough for me. I don't have buy them and watch them break.

i tried that Chris. there is a retaining ring in the middle that will get in your way. it will start to spin around on you preventing you from getting the wrench off.

I use them and they are junk if you don't want to put metal snap rings in place of the plastic ones. If you replace the plastic **** rings for metal ones they are pretty damn good working wrenches that work as intended.

It looks like the 22061's (metric) are not available anywhere now. I can find some 22060's (fractional).
I wonder if they've already discontinued these??

I received the 22060 fractional set from Mobile Dist Supply via Amazon today. I still can't find the metric set anywhere.
Anyway despite saying made in Taiwan my 3/8" had a malformed pivot - rather than a round lobe it was essentially eccentric like a cam lobe. This caused the flex head to bind up when it hit the high point of the "cam lobe."
I simply took it apart and rounded it out on my belt sander, but these are the defects I expect to see from India, not Taiwan.
Other than that I haven't actually used the wrenches yet or attempted to install steel snap rings as shown by JerseyKat1
