Hey guys! I have been researching some lights for my new building for a whIle and came across these and figured I'd share my thoughts on them. They're a 4500 lumens light from Rural King. I hung them up earlier today and fired them up to see how they looked...man they exceeded my expectations 100% I saw these had great reviews online and out of hundreds of reviews I found nothing really negative. They're a little pricey but for what you get I don't feel they're too bad, and they go on sale a lot. So I ordered 15 of them, 12 for the shop 3 back ups to tuck away. When I got off the ladder and flipped these on it was like looking at the sun. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a call from air traffic controls if I run these at night with my doors open. Very very happy with the light output. Anyone looking for some nice lights I'd highly recommend checking these out. Pictures don't do them justice but 12 of them in my 30x40 with 14ft ceilings is very bright. Another cool thing about them is you can link 12 together and run them all off one plug, makes things pretty nice hooking them up!

I have been considering those lights but they don't have them in stock around here and the site shows them back ordered.

When I called my local store they didn't have any in stock as well, but they were able to get me some from another store a couple states away. I believe it was a store in West Virginia or something, they had hundreds of them in stock

I am looking for something like this but RK is not close to me. I did find these at Sam's

How are the Honeywell 4' led lights vs the Lights go America 4' led lights?
Sam's has a 10 pack of the Honeywells for $284. The price seems right

They say they are linkable while the others don't, local Sam's stocks these.

Looks great. I had planned on 6 for my 30*32*12 for general lighting and then add task lights over the benches. You have me thinking I may need to up that number.

I picked up 2 of these to replace some old florescent units that when out. I've been using these since I picked them up on black Friday. I'll buy more if they go on sale again.

IMHO those are the same as the sams club lights.

They are not linkable. Which I think has good and bad points. If you wire a plug for them to plug in it would be easier to replace a single light later when one goes bad if the ones you have are discontinued.

If they are the same lights as Sams........the cord out the top which stops flush mount and no frost on the bulbs are both deal killers.

Linkable is also a very important ( critical) feature.

Why is the no frost bad? Is it glare?

Glare and hot spots.....like having 1000 led flash lights on the ceiling, they can also have a bright white color. There is good reason the better quality LED tubes are frosted.
