Husky tool bags, drawer liners by way of purses

This is sort of a review of a couple Husky tool bags I stumbled upon and an observation about drawer liners.

First, for the bags:
I came a across a Husky 24" "big field" duffle in my store. Allegedly on clearance for $66.00 down from $69.00. Big woop. But online it's $49.00 and ships free. I liked it so much after handling it in the store that I ordered online as it seems like a very solid deal at $49.00

I also found a 16" tool bag that seemed to kind of be part of the Spring Black Friday; it was in the racetrack (front main aisle) during Spring Black Friday and at least in my store continues to be in a standalone cardboard display which they've now pushed back into the hardware aisle (note: not with all the other tool bags). At $24.88 it also seemed like a pretty good deal in-store.

In fact, searching the HD website for their SKU 1002 158 607 brings up zero hits so I think this 16" was a Spring Black Friday promo only.

Honestly, the thing that made me want these bags was the light gray interior. It immediately hit me the second I opened them that this makes so much more sense than a black interior which creates a "black hole." When I mentioned this to my wife, she was like, "Duh, women have known this about purses forever." I had to chuckle, it seems so obvious.

I also like the shoulder straps; I used the 16" bag yesterday at my non-profit to tear down some pens and for some reason it seemed revolutionary to be able to throw the bag on my shoulder vs just carrying a typical small tool bag in one hand.

The large 24" duffle is a pseudo-hard side and I like that it holds its shape and doesn't collapse on itself like a deflated bouncy house. It's got quality zippers and straps, tons of handles and heavy duty feet on the bottom. In fact, if you read the reviews online some people use this for luggage and it's a brilliant idea if you ask me - these bags are affordable and heavy duty (but yes, COO if China).

I'll let people click through the thumbnails if they really care:

I also recently made the same discovery about drawer liners when I used an old yoga mat my wife gave me for some drawers. Even though it just happens to be an odd bright green the difference to the eye when you open the drawers is dramatic, examples below:

I had a similar black hole problem with a 3 pc set of dark gray/black colored draw dividers I got from the HF store. My intentions were to organize all my different impact extensions and adapters but after I filled the tray sections they just got lost in there and without a bright overhead light it was difficult at best to see what I had!
