Hi. I am starting to design my new detatched garage. It is 30x40x12 with an 18' apron.
I am thinking of hiring the concrete and electric out and me and my boys do everything else.
I am doing 2x6 walls 2' on center w 2x6 perlins 2' apart. Roof will be 4/12 trusses 2' oc. With perlins 2' oc. Exterior walls and roof will be pole barn tin.
I will be doing infloor heat so 2" foam and 1/2 pex.
Also very interested in doing a 2 post lift.
This is kind of a hybrid between stick built and a pole barn.
Do you see any concerns about construction of such a building?

Adding Minnesota is to hard for you. That is all you need to do.
