My cousin asked me to help him research concrete sealers for his 1,800sf pole barn and after seeing how highly everyone on here talked about Legacy Industrial, I recommend he call Scotty and talk it through. After listening to what the barn would be used for, Scotty recommended two coats of their SEC sealer with grip in the final coat.
Certain we were going to screw it up, my cousin must have drove Scotty insane with questions leading up to application day, but he kindly advised him through it. Here are the results. It turned out beautiful and he couldn't be happier with the product or the customer service!

Looks good, question for Scotty can you do 3 coats? Would 3 even out the sheen or is it not needed? I'm still dragging my feet on my empty shop need to get it done and put stuff in the dang thing. I have looked at many options in coating here on GJ, this would be the one of the least expensive. I have 2000 sq/ft to do so thinking 7 gals would get 2 coats and 2 bottles of Soft Skid so around $500.
How is the thickness?
Thanks Jeff

Roughly 5-6 mils per coat. Yes, you can install 3 coats or install 2 and add a coat of urethane for a higher gloss and a higher level of protection.

From the texts and phone calls it took him approx....
(1) day for prep (acid etch)
Few days to dry
(2) hours per coat, spaced out between 2 days.
His space is close to 2000 sq ft!!

Looks good. How long did it take you to finish the project?

Scotty's pretty spot on. We acid etched, scrubbed and washed the 2000sf floor on a Saturday morning for probably 5 hours (2 guys).

The next Sunday we went over the plan and staged all of our materials for an hour, and then 4 of us rolled on the first coat in 1 hour.

6 hours later when it was dry enough for the second coat it was on and off rain, so we applied the second coat Monday morning. 4 of us rolled it on in about 50 minutes.
