Saw this on the edege of the driveway as I walked into a yard sale this morning and I knew it was going home with me! Small Snap-on hand tool box with lift out tray and one drawer all loaded down with Snap-on tools! I haven't had a chance to sort it all out yet but here a few pics to share. I thought everyone would get a kick out of this blast from the past.

Is the 1/4" socket driver a "octo grip", handle? What eras are the date codes; looks like 50s-60s to me.... interesting box! Never seen one like that before! :)

Looks like a great steal; hope he made enough for a steak and not just a hod dog & chips out of the transaction. I have a SO valve grinding set for valves and seats. The outfit was made for SO by K.O. Lee. The seat grinder set has a simillar box as yours with a deep top for the seat grinder to store and a drawer for storage of pilot guides and assorted grinding stones. It is from the 40 to 50 era.

Here's a pic of the tools that were in the box. 3/8 dr 6pt short and deep set, 1/4 dr short & deep set, two 1/4 dr ratchets. No 3/8 dr ratchet but a 3/8 dr breaker bar. The coolest spark plug gap tool where the barrel rotates and you slide out the gap wire. I didn't want to get into the price paid, lets just say it was a good deal where both parties walked away feeling they got the best of each other.
