My Latest "build" is a mobile small welding table/cart to move around my shop. Built entirely out of free, scrap, and a 20 dollar garage sale mac side cabinet for welding supplies (no lock).

frame was an old table a buddy threw out. the wheels came off a piece of equipment we scrapped at work. the top came from the guy next door that had a frame table. he wanted a couple big pieces, I had to cut it up and got the rest. its 1/2" thick.

The bottle bracket was a 1/4" plate that was a quick attach on an ancient New holland mini skid steer. perfect width for 2 large bottles. some 3" wide support straps help hold it up, and the plate itself sits on the welded foot for the caster.

cart ended up 26"x52". I'm kicking myself for cutting down the top so much and not having 4" or so of overhang on each side. My original plan was just a tig cart, but the mig and plasma fit too.... so thats my only regret was not making it bigger.... version 2.0 is coming soon.

Interesting re-use of an old table.

It looks like the casters will be great for rolling smoothly around the shop.

Do you have any issues with the welders under the table (getting grime, swarf, slag, etc. into the vents on the machines?

It looks like you need to get busy welding some vise stands.

no, there is about 4" of top covering the overhang on each side from the machines... haven't done much mig welding on it, mainly meant for a tig table, but it worked out well enough, I'm going to make another for the mig and plasma cutter.

Wheels roll awesome, even over zip ties. not sure what it weighs, but its not light with the 1/2" top, 300CF bottle and a 220CF bottle on the back.

Only issue I had was having to use the 8" front swivel caster, with a 6" front wheel to clear the mac box on turns without making the table taller, which would have made a pretty uncomfortable welding setup with the tig pedal. that meant adding a 1/2" spacer under the caster plate to keep it level.

and I'm working on the vise stands, but reorganizing the shop first....
