It's finally done...30x40x14 in UT

Hi everybody!

Been lurking on here for years, learning what I can, but now it's time to throw my hat in the ring.

Well, it took longer than I ever thought it would, but it is finally done. My dream shop (30x40x14) has been erected. I signed papers with the contractor in May 2017 and he finished up with his part at the end of August. There were a few delays along the way, but all in all the contractor was awesome.

Anyways, it will be a multi-purpose shop, once I get the floor finished and the Lighting/Electrical done. I've got quite a few questions on those fronts, so I plan to be quite a bit more active on here.

So, on with the pics.



Floor is power-troweled 6" slab for future lift. I've got HD37 and HD40 on the way (hopefully) from Legacy Industrial.



It's fully insulated, including the roll-up door, and I'll add HVAC (mini-split?) in the near future.

So, my first question is; where do I ask questions? I have so many, on so many different topics now, that I don't want to seem like a pita with so many questions in all the different sub-sections. Is there a proper GJ etiquette?

Looks like a great start! What are your future plans other than the lift? What type of work will you be doing in there?

Ask away - but we will need purpose of shop ? what will you use it for ? Have welding machine, air compressor, auto lift, table saw, grinders etc. That is what makes a difference in wiring and lighting.Good luck.
