So this little guy showed up among some Plomb WF and Walden things.
Online I found suggestions its Plomb or Carter carb, but I don't think so, doesn't seem to match any of their numbering systems.
The only text seems to be the CA-211 across the back
The metal part is well made, the retainer ball still works perfectly, and the tip is a little more rounded than most.
Hole for a pin handle or lanyard seems to be owner inflicted, its too off center to be factory.

So who do you recon made it?

I really wish that I could be of some help in identifying your spinner but I posted mine at the beginning of the year in my mystery tools thread and nobody knew who made it. I'm hoping that you'll have better luck with yours!

Edit.
I see that there is an interesting looking estate sale in Santa Cruz this morning that is closer to you than me. Are you going to check it out?

Here are a couple more shots of mine. I believe they are identical.

So it crossed my mind that early Craftsman 9/32s and other socket tools might have a C## on them, but both of us losing the brand stamp seems unlikely.

I have a larger 9/32 driver handle similar to that, made by a company called Deco. Its packed right now but when I get to it I will put a pick up for you guys. Also, I bought it at Denios in Roseville if that makes any difference.

Yeah, I had a larger Deco one too. I ended up selling it on eBay. I thought with the red handle the CA-211 might be early K-D but the numbering system doesn't seem to match.
