Ended up using Prosoco Consolideck LS (densifier) and LS guard (sealer). Burnished in with a 27" propane burnisher. Came out pretty killer I think (considering it was only power troweled with no other grinding) I'm so ready to start moving stuff in :bounce:

Yea, that did come out 'killer'.....good job bro.....

Personally, in that type of garage, I think that type of floor looks much better.
You have a working garage with a floor that should hold up nicely. You don't have to worry about 'scratching' your epoxy....

When I did my floor, I just tossed down a couple of gallons of concrete sealer from HD. It's great for cleaning up oil and paint spills....but if I get a little bit of saw dust on the floor, it gets real slippery.

Let us know how the traction is after it gets a 'working' coat of dirt on it.

That's a great looking floor! I'm anxious to hear how we'll it hold up over time.

Hi, I am very interested in this product. What kind of prep did you do before? How did you apply? And does it need to be burnished or can I just coat it and leave it? Thanks.

Floors have to be clean and free of oil stains. My floors were "new" therefore I cleaned them really well with a diluted simple green mixture and rinsed/mopped with clean water several times.

Applied the LS (densifier) with a cheap pump sprayer and spread with a microfiber mop pad and let dry.

Applied the LSGuard the same way and let it dry tack free (took about 20 minutes) and burnished with a propane burnisher

Yes...needs to be burnished

Thanks for the reply, the floor is fairly new and I was hoping I could get away without burnishing. I am also looking to move everything to one side and do half at a time.
