72 Lathe tools and 3tool holders for sale ($40)/exchange;added more information 8Apr
Good evening.
I have a lot of 72 lathe tools and 3 tool holders which I got recently. They are a little dirty as there was a lot of rust dust and junk in the small box they came in.
Some have names on them, some do not. Please look at the pictures - if any specific one looks interesting, I can clean it up to show you the condition.
I would like to either sell them for $40 or exchange them for some tool or box (I will consider anything Snap On, Billings, ServiStar (not fancy, but old), anything related to Pierce Arrow (some older tools have Pierce crossed by an arrow stamp on them which people often miss), MAC, MATCO, small toolbox with drawers (like old Craftsman, etc), old vise - offer me something which you would like to swap .
I would prefer local pick up as it will give you an opportunity to look at the things as well as possibly swap with me
ADDITIONAL DETAILS as of April 8th: I started slowly wiping the tools with paper towels to see what is under the rusty dust and will eventually make new pictures to show them as current picture makes them look worse than they are.
Some of the names/tools which I have better description of now:
- Toolholder VASCOLOY RAMET SBPR 64 E 7; PAT 2697272; LP3IR stamp on top.
- Toolholder VASCOLOY RAMET TBT R54 K5; PAT 2697272; L IIR stamp on Top
- Toolholder CARBOLOY TBTL64 3/8 IC; XB35L stamp on top
Tools:
-Armstrong 2383 high speed (large 5" x 0.75"x0.75")
-MoMAX Cobalt 1/4 - 9 pieces (clevelend USA)
-MoMAX 3/8 (Cleveland USA)
-MoMAX 1/2 (Cleveland USA)
-KENNMETAL D6 K68 (appears to have an insert, ? Carbide)
- BUTTERFIELD B high speed steel
- REX aa
- Rex a
- Cut Coba (the end is not clear - ? probably Cut Cobalt) - possibly hand written or manufactures mark...
Thank you for reading
