Storage Cabinets, I scored all of these for free, The Case Construction one had freight damage to it and the file cabinets were going to be thrown away..

And last but not least: My "working" motorcycle. I call it that because I'm always working on it...

Nice garage! I really like that bench, and like the way you have everything set up above and below it. And free storage cabinets are always great!

Looking good! Looks like a good place to work.

I like your wood turning area. I've never tried turning pens, it must take patience.

Keep posting!!

The work bench, I made it from discarded pallets from work:

I also like the recycled work bench. It was similar to the one I had originally built. I had mounted a dual head grinder on it that required an external motor. Then cut a hole through the top for the v belt. Mounted the motor on a piece of plywood. Mounted a piano hinge on that piece of plywood. Mounted the other side of the hinge to the underside of the bench. The weight of the motor kept tension on the belt the ground away.
You get a **** award for the Case cabinet.

I really like your setup. So I assume you have the divider up to keep sawdust out of your mechanic area. And is your shed right outside the garage. That I really like.

To me, it's not the garage that's a priority, but the work that's done in it, and the people doing it. So to me, this looks better than most mega-dollar buildings. Just curious, what's behind the curtain.

It's my pen turning shop, I have the divider up because I heat that part of the garage in the winter, I've thought about taking it down and seeing if that heater can heat the whole garage...

That is a great work space. Couple of questions. What is the cardboard on the floor hiding? I seem to always have cardboard around the shop. I didn't see a lathe. Are you turning pen blanks on the drill press?

I have the cardboard to stand on, the concrete under there is just fine, and the lathe is in the pic of the pen turning shop, it's on the right side of the pic, just the **** end is visible though..

Ok, I didn't realize that was the lathe. I have never used a lathe, but I plan on it in the near future. I bought one of the little ones that HF sold on clearance last year. I paid around $30 for it. I hope I can learn to do something with it.

intillzah you have a top set up.

I do admire the workmanship and detail that goes into making a pen, well done..

Thank you... It's always evolving and changing, but in the end. I'm pleased with my shop.. And thank you for the comment on the pens, I love that you can take a piece of material and make something that is in a way a little bit of you, your passion, creativity, and love,

But that is true for any hobby and passion that we do..
