I have Craftsman BAll Glide (ball bearing) tool chests. I also have the 3 and 4 drawer portable chests they make. What is the best lubricant to make the drawers slides more efficiently. I am thinking maybe the white lithium that comes in an aerosol can from auto parts stores.

Any suggestions wil be appreciated. Alan

I like the white lithium. Silicone spray works good also. I think the best i've used is motorcycle chain lube.

Don't the Snap-on's, and all the big names come from the factory with grease? I know my KRL did, and the drawers still slide as smooth as day one. Wouldn't the grease keep the dust on the surface, while the oil would allow it to flow into all the cracks?

But, in comparison to dry-type lubricants, doesn't WD40 collect dust and anything else that might be airbourne around the slides?

well, grease or oil?

Is there any better type of either. I have lots of firearms oils and greases, but thought the spray on white lithium might be best. If not, what grease would be better?

What is Superlube? where do you get it? Thanks

SuperLube 21030 is a clear synthetic grease. It's what the slide manufacturer uses. You can get it at an industrial supply or you can Google "super lube 21030."

Well, It appears it is dielectric and food grade (win-win). Thanks for the info, I'll be ordering some
