I don't have eyes on them, my brother told me about them, but even then he had a friend buy them for him. So they are most likely the bottom of the barrel China ones, but at $10 and a free tape measure, you are into HF territory anyways.

I think it is in store only, looks like you can reserve it online then pick it up later. I would call local store and see what they say. My local store is also the ditribution hub, so they may have more on hand than other stores.

I almost wonder if this was a pricing error?

When I first clicked the link it showed $10. Added to cart and it showed $37.99. Closed that window and clicked same link again seconds later - now shows $37.99 before even adding to cart.

The only way I could get it to work was to reserve it for store pickup. Decent Deal, thanks Strouty!

I am still seeing $10, I guess the only way to do it would be in store pickup?

They were out of them when I ordered, so my brother got the deal. I don't need them, but I would have bought them for that price.

Thank you for posting this!! It worked for me, and I just drove quickly to the store and picked up one of each.

I've been debating buying these for years, but already have the flex head sets (Taiwan) and the 20 piece flat non-reversible set (China), so couldn't justify it at their usual sale prices.

FYI: the sets I got are quite dusty. I wonder if they're trying to clear some out.

My local FL friend tried to do it at 2 NAPA stores in Palm Beach County but it kept giving him the full price, until he did the order to the same store I designated for my pick-up, then the transaction gave the correct price at checkout.

I ordered a pair of each from a store in Scottsdale. Looks like that tape measure is $7 plus shipping on Amazon, so good for throw aways.

I went to a different NAPA this morning. They have some Gearwrench sets, including these and others, in a Clearance section. They also have almost all the Evercraft single tools on clearance, at 1/2 price.

The salesperson told me that they're clearing out certain inventory, making room for the new Gearwrench tools, and commented on what a great deal this was at $10. Yes, it is. My friends will be happy.

As a side note, if you get these, make sure to check the set before you leave. Two sets were missing a wrench, hidden by the tape measure that's tie-wrapped to the front. Luckily that was discovered before I left the store.

Last night I ordered one of each at $10 online for in store pick up at my local NAPA (Stanton, CA. 90680). Received a call this morning to tell me the SAE set will arrive in a few days. The metric set will come from out of state with an extra $10 shipping fee.

While the shipping fee is annoying I can't complain too loudly about getting both sets for $30.

Has anyone picked their's up yet?

Ordered last night at 9:30 pm, got a call today from the local NAPA store my order was ready to pick up. Got them home now. Clerk at the store thanked me as he discovered the deal while processing my order and got a set of each for himself.

Did it come up as 10 dollars for your local napa or did you find a way around it? Every where around here they are 37.

FYI: the sets I got are quite dusty. I wonder if they're trying to clear some out.

It was the same way last year when they were blowing out the CrossForce or X-beam sets - VERY dusty like they'd been on a warehouse shelf for years and years.

For those who can't get this promo to work, don't lose much sleep. These sets are only worth about $10 and I'd only throw them in my truck bag at that. These will lock up and self-reverse during any REAL use. For some reason GearWrench can't figure out how to make a reversible ratcheting wrench that works, their initial claim to fame was the straight, non-reversing wrenches and they got frozen in time at that point.

Also love Napa's website - "reversable" LOL

Anyway if you want something worth your time and $ for regular use look to the myriad of Taiwanese Kabo-inspired mechanisms on the market. They're bomber.

And I'm betting dollars to donuts those tapes are graduated in 32nds as virtually any Lufkin tape is. A HUGE pet-peeve of mine but I'm VERY picky about tape measures. Sure, a good spare for the $10 price tag perhaps

First, franchise stores don't exchange goods with corporate stores, I was told.

Second, the southeast stores are out of the SAE set. Dallas has some, but you would need to pay UPS shipping, which would be > the cost of the sale price.

Third, since it's a close-out, not to be re-ordered, it's 'limited to stock on-hand.' Even-though I had a confirmation of my order for both the SAE and the metric, the only one available was my two sets of the metric (one for a friend), and no Lufkin 25' tape measure zip-tied to the package. Even then, the clerk at the NAPA store I went to, which is the regional warehouse and is open 7 days, had to cannibalize another partial set to make a complete set.

The clerk was helpful, he showed me the inventory and explained the system. On 'closeouts,' it's 'stock on-hand.' Two ways to see inventory: 'warehouse' and 'manufacturer.' Once the 'manufacturer' is out of stock, they are not getting any-more from them. The screen showed none available from the manufacturer, thus, none to be ordered.

The 'warehouse' regional distribution list I saw went up the east coast, I saw as-far as Buffalo NY, no SAE sets were in inventory. A location in TX had some sets. To get the set sent would entail additional shipping via their carrier, UPS, which would cost more-than the cost of the set. That was the story at the south Florida regional distribution center.

I did have the original store designated as my pick-up location tell me if I wanted to pay $10 for shipping, they would order the SAE set for me, so taking the two sets together for $30 doesn't seem like such a bad deal, they want payment up-front, which is not what the online ad says. But if it gets me the missing SAE set, I'll pay an additional $10.

There seems to be some difference among stores as to what lengths they will go for this deal.

Once I set store location it change price I ordered both sets just because I doubt own any ratchet wrenches. We have these at work but are four years old or so made in Taiwan I wanted to compare. Neither are in stock locally and had to be ordered they didn't charge me any shipping or anything.

I had to search for the APX part number to get the $10 price. Pick up in store is the only option. The metric set is possibly not available at my store. I've reserved a set of each. Thanks to the OP for posting this deal!
