I've had a mid lift for several years and have recently been putting full sized pickups on it. I feel that's maxing it out a bit and have wanted some tall jack stands. I considered cutting doen the under carriage stands at HF but they are rated too light and are bolted together.

I found the Sunex stands and ordered them from JEGS but they backordered them. I got them on ebay for $199 a pair.

Anyways, here are pics and specs for the stands. Anyone else with mid rise type lifts might want a pair ot two.

The one pic is off the lift fully rased with both sets of pads installed and compared to the max height of the jack stand. Also notice that the mid-lift pads fit perfectly on the jack stand craddle.

The other pic is of the dog tearing up the box. He loves big and heavy cardboard.

Anyways, here are pics and specs for the stands. Anyone else with mid rise type lifts might want a pair ot two.

Max Height 46.5
Min Height 28.1
Capacity 10 Ton
Dimensions 38.27 x 18.19 x 17.32 in
Weight 68.45 lbs

Those damn things will hold up a class 8 tractor trailer. I'm all for over kill but good night. Personally I think I would modify the regular ones.

I used the stands today on my buddy's son's Infinity to do brakes all around. The mid lift is directly on the vehicle lift points and the stands are sitting directly under those lift arms. They were awesome; Great for having a teenager around who knows nothing about a car and making him wrench and break caliper brackets and wheels loose and retighten them.

One of the best things I ever purchased was the mid-lift, these are the perfect companion. My back is thankful for having work at chest height.

Up next are 2 Ram 1500s.

Thank you for posting about these, have been thinking about tall stands for awhile. Have to do a rear spring job on a semi and these will work great. Ordered last nite at 9:00 from Summit, tracking says to be delivered today, can't beat that.
