Anyone have this? https://racedeck.com/racedeck-products/smoked-oak-display-flooring/

My plans to grind and polish the exposed aggregate in the front section of my shop are blowing the budget.

Looking for a way to get a smooth, easy to clean floor that can hold up to foot traffic, cars, floor jacks, etc. No welding or grinding, just general vintage automotive assembly work. This space is 1,800 square feet.

Thoughts?

The smoked oak comes in both 18"x18" and 3'x3' seamless panels and is very popular with auto showrooms, display garages, etc.. We currently have a local premier detail shop that is putting in over 1000 feet for his car display and vehicle delivery area, I will get some pics soon

Jorgen, I would love to see more pictures. Knowing what my floor is, is there any reason that the Smoked Oak tiles wouldn't work?

Our Smoked Oak is of the highest commercial grade laminate. With that said, any laminate could be affected by harsh chemicals. Over the years, our laminates have been used in auto showrooms, show floors, garage areas ( not for heavy mechanical builds) etc and holds up well. I should have some really good pictures over the weekend of a large auto detailer, custom shop that is putting in over 4,000 feet

One of the amazing things about this forum is the respect we vendors show for the forum itself, the customers and each other. My personal 2 cents is if there is a brand that is represented in the forum and the post is about that brand we should respect that.

This is a really cool project and it looks like RaceDeck has some really cool solutions. Would love if you would post some before and after pictures so we can drool

The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
I didn't know RD did something like this.

Me? I really like that look, reminds me of an old time shop with hardwood floors. And I always figured that if something were to damage one of the tiles, you could always replace the damaged ones.

Anyway, I have no dog in that race, just my 2¢... when you get them put in show them off, because I want to see if it looks as good as I think it would. Hell, I might have to put them over my wood floors in my shop to preserve them!

We would recommend a single coat of our SPGX one part Polyurea/Polyaspartic hybrid. It gives the look of polished concrete at about 60 cents/sq ft. Thank you.

Is that left picture a picture of the finished flooring?

Hi
Here is one from the install going on over the weekend. I will have more when I get into the office on Monday and download. This is our 18"x18" size modules, we also have 36"x36" panels as well.
It really came out great!

Can anyone who has seen this pattern in person chime in on their thoughts on how well it’d look in a garage with at least one wall done in a brick veneer?
