Look very similar to the Astro low profile sockets that run around 30$ per set metric / sae without a ratchet for Sunex or Astro versions.

These seem to run around 75-90$ for this set. Not that I need a set but for 43.99 I am interested in one.

this is a very well done set, I have one I bought last summer for the pickup, underseat toolset and it has held up very well. Well done finishes and the price is decent.

Good to hear. I have been happy with all the other sunex products I have. They seem to run rebates here and there. Paired up with a coupon they are hard to beat.

I got the astro pneumatic set they are made in Taiwan and are CR-MO, very impress with quality. I got them on ebay during their 20% sale :thumbup:

A little surprised this comes with a ratchet vs a 17mm ratcheting wrench. The overall profile with the ratchet really isn't any shorter than a normal socket ratchet combo. To really get the advantage of the stubby socket you have to use a 17mm wrench :/

Fail on your part. You should already have three different types of 17mm wrenches. GJ gives you the excuse to buy the sets that go along with the 17mm too.

I have the flex gearwrench set that includes 17mm but decided to add a regular combo ratcheting wrench from gearwrench for a whole $6.50 from HD. I’ll keep it with the set.

So I bought this and should have them tomorrow.

Then I was thinking about the 17mm wrench I will need.

Then I started thinking about why do I even need these if I have nice ratcheting wrench sets.

I guess this will have more sizes in metric than I have in wrenches but in all seriousness what’s the use case when a ratcheting wrench wouldn’t do just as well?

The pics of the carb stud between the intake manifold and air cleaner crack me up because I would just remove the air cleaner.

Really??? Asking for justification to purchase another tool?? C'mon this is GJ!! Jokes aside, there are times (not often) when a nut/bolt is recessed and requires a socket. And there may also be occasions which would benefit from the lower profile of a ratcheting wrench instead of a ratchet.
