As I already have commented in some threads maybe a short introduction is in place.

I am from Sweden, living and working in Stockholm. I also have a small house at the other side of the country, in the county of Värmland. There I have created a small shop (5 x 3.5 meters, about 16 x 11 feet) that I use for those small projects around the house.

I have been following some threads here at GJ for years. Threads that have been educating and entertaining in so many ways. I really like to follow talented craftsman in their processes. Of course I get some ideas how I can solve my own similar problems when seeing what they do. What I really like is to follow their processes and how they recover from their errors. There I am really learning things. Things that I can use in my work as a Software Developer and Database Engineer. It can seem odd, but solving problems is the core of my work and to see how others are solving their problems develops my skills and my toolbox at work.

For the moment I am mostly reading here, but when I find something I like I will add a comment to show that. And if I feel I can help somebody I will add a comment. I must say that I am very impressed of the kind and helpful atmosphere in this forum, please keep it like that.

Oh! And here i thought i could slip pass that :) The pictures below is from 2015 and 2016.

The outside of the shop. It is not nice looking, but is isolated. The building to the left is not isolated and I use that most for garden tools and for storing bulky things. There is a garage for one small car at the other side of that building. That can be a small secret for now, because there is nothing in there.

Some years ago i needed some shelves, all things to the left was moved from that wall before that.

Then i could move all stuff back so i could get some cabinets from an old kitchen at the other wall. The two empty cabinets at the end have some drawers today, drawers that i will rebuild because they are not pretty.

Now i could hang a couple of other cabinets on the wall, and make some simple drawers for things like knifes, pens, measure tapes. The drawers is very simple and so light that they can slide on some strips. Don't look that close at my special solution at the hinges. :)

At last I stepped back some steps to show how those cabinets is localized in the room, the shelves to the right is the same as in the second picture. That small band saw is actually nice to have. It does what i need and expect it to do.

Strange how empty it looks in this pictures. I really need to clean up there this summer.
