Hi everyone, I have browsed this sight many times in the past to find and read interesting stuff, finally decided to join the fun.
The attached (I hope the images attached) Bonney wrench kind of stumps me. It just has the Bonney name with the shield between the two N's and the B in the shield on the handle. The B shield indicates early production from what I can find on the internet. I found no date codes.
It is 5 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick with a round handle. The opening is right at .900 inches. I kind of thought perhaps a spark plug wrench (because the opening is around 29/32 or 57/64) but I would have thought the opening would have been more Hex shaped for that application.
Any of you tool guys know what this is for or have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The bonney shield between the two ns was pre 33 according to alloy artifacts, so it's pretty old.

My guess would be some kind of special machine wrench. It does not appear in the 1914, 1923, or 1925 Bonney catalogs or in any of the old ads I have. I think I may have one just like it, but made by a different mfgr. I will have to remember which, find it, and then see if I can find theirs in a catalog to help identify it.

We have a Bonney thread here on the Vintage Board, linked here, where I have cross-posted your query, and you may want to page through it, but I don't recall having seen one come up in discussion there before.

No idea what it’s for. I’ll look, but I don’t recall ever seeing one like it. Without a model number or even a size marking, only the unusual handle offers a clue. There were structural or car-building wrenches in 29/32, so if the tapered point was cut off...
Also, I wonder if it might be close to a Whitworth size. If not, then as Lugz says, maybe machinery of some kind.
That particularly pointy, narrow version of the B-shield makes me think it is very early after the move to Allentown from Philadelphia.
